a5c7b9f00b A special crime unit investigates serialized crimes that cross over European borders, to hunt down criminals and bring them to justice. Season 1 was absolutely amazing. My husband and I were hooked. Season 2 still had amazing characters, and fantastic story lines, well, at least until the end when two characters are suddenly gone.

Season three is a whole different ballgame. 1. More past characters missing. 2. No reference to end of Season 2, or characters. 3. New characters don't have any chemistry. 4. After 2.5 seasons, a main character is suddenly a lesbian? Really? Why? Why now? We don't hate any person, but we do not support that lifestyle. Yet, more and more, this theme is being put into almost every TV show or series. We cannot be the only older people who just want excellent writing and story lines, with characters that actually seem to add to the story because the actors work so well together.

If Crossing Lines continues this way, I guess we'll move on and look elsewhere. Sad. It sure was a winner for 2 years. I found this by accident while looking through netflix and decided to give it a try. Ended up watching till four in the morning. Like others have said it's like watching a European Criminal Minds. I can't believe this show gets no press! The characters are well written, the acting is above par. The action doesn't seem forced or gratuitous like in other TV shows now and it doesn't have the slow movement of British procedural shows I've come to expect. I really hope enough people stumble upon this gem to keep it going for at leastmany seasonstwo broke girls. It's refreshing to see well written content that isn't relying simply on actor recognition and good looks to keep it going although Donald Sutherland was a welcome surprise.
